Best for: Virtual self-care guidance • Fascial stretching and mobility • Self-massage techniques • Chronic tension and recurring pain patterns • Learning how to better understand and care for your body

Elissa is the founder and owner of Momentum Massage & Wellness. While she no longer offers in-person massage sessions (except when she's in town), she continues to use her clinical knowledge and years of hands-on experience to help clients develop practical tools for managing tension, improving mobility, and becoming more aware of their own bodies.

Through virtual fascial stretching and self-massage sessions, Elissa teaches clients how to work with their own bodies through targeted movement, stretching, pressure, and self-care techniques. Sessions are personalized around the areas of tension, movement restrictions, or recurring patterns each client is experiencing.

Elissa completed more than 1,000 hours of professional massage therapy education at Cortiva Institute's Hoboken Extended Professional Massage Therapy Program, with extensive training in anatomy and physiology, kinesiology, pathology, clinical orthopedic assessment, injury management, Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Sports Massage, and Dynamic Cupping. After more than a decade in massage therapy and building Momentum from the ground up, Elissa's focus has evolved from providing hands-on treatment to helping people understand their bodies and develop sustainable self-care practices they can use between appointments—and long after they leave the treatment room.

Best for: Clients looking for clinical, targeted massage • Chronic muscle tension and soft tissue restrictions • Myofascial and trigger point work • Athletes seeking recovery and injury support • Manual lymphatic drainage

Giselle takes a clinical, assessment-based approach to massage, using her knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology, and soft tissue conditions to identify areas that may be contributing to pain, tension, or restricted movement. Each session is tailored to what she finds during assessment and what the client is experiencing. Her work incorporates Swedish massage, Deep Tissue techniques, Myofascial Release, and Trigger Point Therapy to address specific areas of tension and dysfunction. She combines focused therapeutic work with a thoughtful, attentive approach to help clients move and feel better.

Giselle is a graduate of the Swedish Institute in New York City, where she completed more than 1,200 hours of study in Massage Therapy. She is also a Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist (MLD-C) and has extensive education in anatomy and physiology, kinesiology, neurology, pathology, and therapeutic treatment techniques for soft tissue conditions.

With her clinical education and over 7 years of hands-on experience, Giselle is able to adapt each session to the individual rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all routine.

Best For: Clients who prefer deeper, focused massage and are looking to address chronic muscle tension, pain, overuse or repetitive strain, and restricted mobility.

Patrick's approach combines deep, broad therapeutic massage with active range-of-motion techniques and movement-based work. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all routine, he tailors each session to what he finds in the body and what the client is experiencing. His work is a great fit for people who want massage to feel purposeful and therapeutic while still maintaining a sense of flow and relaxation.

Patrick has been a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist since 2018 and has nearly a decade of experience working with clients throughout Westchester County. He completed a 1,000-hour certification in Therapeutic Massage at Finger Lakes School of Massage, with training in neuromuscular therapy, medical massage, sports massage, connective tissue therapy, and kinesesthetic movement techniques. Before becoming a massage therapist, Patrick worked in a hospital setting supporting patient safety and care. That experience, combined with his massage training, contributes to his friendly, attentive and professional approach to client care.

Best for: Active lifestyles • General muscle tension and soreness • Sports-inspired massage • Clients who prefer a lighter, more invigorating approach • Full-body massage with a focus on movement and recovery

Mary brings a broad background in massage therapy, movement, and mind-body practices to her work. Her massage style is flowing and invigorating, incorporating sports-inspired techniques to help ease general muscle tension and soreness while supporting comfortable movement. Her sessions are a great fit for clients who prefer a lighter-to-moderate approach rather than deep, highly focused work. She typically works with the body as a whole, adapting her techniques to what the client is experiencing that day. Whether you're feeling the effects of an active lifestyle, everyday muscle fatigue, or simply want a massage that leaves you feeling refreshed, Mary's approach is designed to help you move and feel your best.

Mary has been working in bodywork and stress management since the early 1990s, with experience as a massage therapist, stress management instructor, and movement educator. Her background includes private practice, massage therapy in clinical and wellness settings, and teaching yoga, meditation, Pilates, and Feldenkrais.

She uses gentle, exploratory movement to help people become more aware of how they move and discover options for moving with greater ease and efficiency. This movement-based perspective complements Mary's massage work and contributes to her whole-body approach.

Mary studied at the Swedish Institute in NYC and has additional training in Kripalu yoga and meditation.
